Welcome back to another Alien Birthday Bash devlog! Last time, I went over the different game modes, and general rules of ABB. Today, it's time to talk about how exactly you'll be defending yourself during the Alien invasion. As stated in the previous devlog, you'll be finding presents while playing, and it's your job to collect them. Here's the thing, though. Birthday Boy just can't hold back his excitement when he sees a present, and will immediately open it, throwing away whatever he was holding before. Whatever's inside will be how you defend yourself. So far, there are around 25 different forms of attack in ABB. I won't go over all 25, but here's a list of some of your weapons.

Bubble - The default weapon. Average damage, shot speed, no cons, but no pros either.
Weird - Weird bullets can change their direction mid flight. Just shoot in another direction, and they will move there (ex. If you shoot left, then shoot up, the bullets will move upwards mid flight). Good for hitting enemies that you might've missed.
Eyeball - Throw eyes, and whatever is in their line of sight will take damage.
Hearts - Hearts will beat, creating shockwaves that damage enemies.
Virus - The virus will explode when it touches something, releasing tiny bullets that pierce through foes.

That's only 1/5 of the projectiles you can find, but I'm getting tired of typing, and we still have a lot to get through.

Active Items
An active item is an item that charges up over time. When it's fully charged, you will use the item, and then you have to wait all over again. These items have very useful abilities, but you don't just start with them. You gotta search long and hard, far and wide... Or not, because the active items come to you in the form of Piñatas that run across the screen. Destroy one, and you get a handy dandy active item. Now, I would love to tell you about all the active items, but I won't.
